He meets Jane at the hotel bar where they flirt and eventually they have sex at his hotel room where he sneaks out while Jane was sleeping. David's mother tells Jane that she still needs to have sex and Jane sleeps with Paul again, but then Jane asks if he wants to go on a date and Paul says that he just wanted to have sex, which upsets Jane a lot. Jane meets him at the bar again and ruins his chances with woman before leaving with another man.
